Pushup (“Pushup,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) helps people build a consistent push-up practice and share products with a community. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices available to you.
1. Information we collect
Account and profile information
When you create or use an account, we may collect your email address, display name, profile image, authentication-provider identifier, and account preferences.
Workout and product information
We collect push-up counts, workout dates, streaks, points, products you list, product descriptions, product links, and related leaderboard activity that you choose to submit.
Camera data
When you use the camera workout feature, the camera is used to analyze body pose and count repetitions. Pose analysis is performed on your device. We do not upload or store camera video or photos as part of the workout counter.
Technical information
Our service providers may process device, app, network, diagnostic, and authentication information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service. We do not use your workout camera feed for advertising.
2. How we use information
- Provide authentication, workouts, streaks, profiles, products, leaderboards, and account settings.
- Secure the service, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms.
- Process subscriptions, restore purchases, and maintain entitlement status where applicable.
- Respond to support requests and communicate service or security notices.
- Understand reliability and improve product performance.
3. Sharing
We share information with service providers that help us host databases, authenticate users, deliver the app, process subscriptions, and provide analytics or diagnostics. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or transfer of assets. We do not sell personal information.
Information you intentionally publish in a product listing or leaderboard may be visible to other users, including your display name, product details, and public scores.
4. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use access controls, encrypted transport, row-level authorization, and other reasonable safeguards. No service can guarantee absolute security.
5. Your choices
You may update profile information in the app, stop camera access through device settings, and delete your account from Account settings. Account deletion removes the account and associated app data subject to backups, legal requirements, and records that must be retained. You may also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion.
6. Children
Pushup is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required where you live). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization.
7. International users
Your information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
8. Changes and contact
